This was a fourball betterball Competition for the Founder’s Salvers; played off 85% handicap, It started at noon off the first tee on a bright but windy day. All 40 players began their round with the welcoming presence of starter Rosemary Barton, Windlesham Club Captain, and later some unexpectedly ended theirs with a clap of thunder and a shower on the last few holes.
